This dimension is defined by the use of thematic components based on projects with a strong group sense e.g. the wine industry as in the case of the ALEF project. This approach leads to achieving standardization and cost effective implementation.

Examples within the ISD Group are projects:

1] Where the applicable economic driver provides the theme. Examples of economic drivers are:

• Agriculture

1. Local sustenance
2. Export of produce

• Industrial activity (e.g. manufacturing)
• Mining
• Eco – Tourism
• Resort Hotels

2] Implemented using the consideration as shown in dimension 1 as the primary guideline, specifically in development close to or within a bio-reserve;

3] Where employee empowerment is the theme; and

4] Of a humanitarian nature dependant on financial input for implementation.
