DIMENSION 2 In dimension 2 the generic components of a sustainable community are being considered and introduced into phases, if necessary, into the community, as shown in the schematic diagram below.  Sustainable community
A variety of alternative names are used in order to define a sustainable community:
- Eco – Village
- One Planet Living
- Sustainable Development Initiative (SDI)
- Sustainable Rural Community
- Regional Community
- Conservation Economy
These different styles of implementation have one factor in common, described as Critical Regionalism, also known as the Big Five and defined by:
- Sense of place
- Sense of history
- Sense of craft
- Sense of nature
- Sense of limits
